Sat in a wet barn for 30 years. I found this when it was just listed on Ebay, it was located in Maryland. I bought it sight unseen and had a friend bring it down to NC. Aparrently a guy bought this new and parked it a year or 2 later. Sat in a barn till the guy listing it pulled it out. Still on the original title and I have the DMV paperwork showing the first registration. It was a mess. Head gasket was gone when I pulled it apart so I'm guessing that's why he parked it but who knows. The bike was quite rusty and it took a lot of soaking in release oils to get it apart. I am making good progress and hope to have it finished this summer.
I am looking for a locking gas cap so if anyone knows where I can get one send a message to Mike.
