Sorry for my lack of communication, life is hectic and bikes dont get much time at the moment. The Bonnies are a bit buried in the
garage however I got a quick photo of them yesterday. The complete one in the pic is HDA 30848, and the frame/engine one is
undergoing rebuild, being HDA 30782. One day I will get my act together and send more pics and stories.
Just to make you sick, 30782 was given to me for nowt a long time ago. The first owner had a prang on it, bent the forks and put a
minor dent in the frame such that it was an insurance write off.  He asked me if I wanted to buy it, and I said Id love to but had no
cash. He was an electrician and I an accountant and we came to a deal whereby I didnt charge him for doing his accounts and Tax
Returns. Putting it back on the road back then was not a problem, a pair of new fork stanchions and a trip to a place in Gamlingay
whose name I have forgotten, they sorted the frame without even having to take the engine out. The original tank still has the dent
in it that he made with his man parts !
The Vincent is a 1951 Comet Ive had for about 15 years, paid the whopping amount of £2,000 ($2666) for that one.
