Glad to see that someone has set up an info page for this Triumph, I expected there to be one ages ago unless I just missed it.
I own a US export one, the blue peanut tank one, it is in great condition and has only covered about 11000 miles. Number 42 in the
series. I live in England and have owned the bike for about 4 years or so. The bike had originally been bought and registered in
England then exported to Germany where the owner fitted a sidecar! It was brought back just before I bought it. The biggest
challenge has been the broken side panel badges, both were cracked all the way through so I had to cast some from resin, I then got
a set of adhesive transfers printed up that go on the back. The ones in the photo are the old ones but the new ones aren’t bad at
all. I am always on the lookout for some originals if you know of any?
